Ailis

AilisAilis (Long A) is my beloved shammy so very near and dear to my heart.  She was my first character and, with her, I learned how to play this game.  I created her a year ago, knowing absolutely nothing about this wide World of Warcraft and, since then, have journeyed with her through the Old World, Burning Crusade, and now into Wrath of the Lich King.

The name of this blog is a play on the constant mispronunciation of my name by one of my former guildies, who insisted on constantly calling me “Alice” in vent, even though he knew better.  That coupled with my constant fist shaking at hunters who take my loot spawned the name of this blog.  Clever, no?

At least I think it’s clever…

Ailis is Enhancement first and Resto second.  When dual-specs were announced, I began rolling on all resto gear I could get my hands on and built her a very nice, albeit quite piecemeal, healing set.  My love, however, is melee.

I am a raider.  I don’t consider myself hardcore; though, I love challenges and love pushing myself to be better.  I have experience in all levels of raiding from the lowly new raider to the leader of the herd.  I have been an officer, a class leader and un-guilded.  I have opinions on a variety of subjects but raiding and shamans are the two subjects I am most opinionated about.

I’m not an expert.  I am constantly learning and bettering my character and my views on raiding.  I will, however, spout “fact” and opinions and it is up to you, reader, to take them as truth or mere nonsense.
